  •   Echeveria Hercules is a pastel succulent belonging to the Crassulaceae family, native to Mexico and Central America. It evolved in rocky, sun-drenched terrain where sharp drainage and intense light are the norm, making it exceptionally well-suited to indoor and outdoor growing.

'Hercules' forms a bold, symmetrical rosette with thick, spoon-shaped leaves in soft blue-green tones, often flushed with dusty pink or lavender tips that deepen with sun exposure. A powdery farina coating gives it a chalky, pastel finish. The plant grows in a clustering habit over time, offsetting generously to create a full display. All sides of the rosette stay tidy and sculptural year-round.

'Hercules' produces small bell-shaped flowers typical of Echeveria species, though flowering indoors is less common and depends on plant maturity and light conditions. You can easily propagate offsets from around the base of the mother rosette and pot them separately to expand your collection.

You can leave it up to ten days without water. Move it outside in summer to a bright, sheltered spot with good airflow; just cover it during rain to protect the leaves from rot. 'Hercules' is pet-friendly and non-toxic to cats and dogs. This blue-green rosette succulent works on sunny windowsills, patio containers, or outdoor summer arrangements. The plant is relatively rare compared to common Echeveria varieties.

  •   Echeveria Hercules grows well in bright indirect light to full sun, with at least 4-6 hours of light daily.

Water it deeply every 10-14 days during the growing season, cutting back to once a month in winter.

'Hercules' does best in a gritty, fast-draining cactus and perlite mix to prevent root rot.

It prefers temperatures between 60-80°F and should be brought indoors before frost arrives.

'Hercules' is a slow to moderate grower and benefits from a diluted balanced fertilizer applied once in spring.

It is hardy in USDA zones 9-11, tolerating temperatures down to around 25-30°F before frost damage occurs. It grows outdoors year-round in California, Texas, Arizona, Florida, Hawaii, Nevada, Louisiana, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, and Mississippi. It also grows in coastal parts of Oregon and Washington, plus the warmer pockets of New Mexico and North Carolina with minimal winter protection.
  • Q: How often should I water Echeveria Hercules?
A: Every 10-14 days during the growing season, letting the soil dry completely between waterings. In winter, reduce watering to once a month to avoid rot.

Q: Is it safe around pets?
A: Echeveria Hercules is non-toxic and safe for cats and dogs. The more light it receives, the more intense the color shift becomes.

Q: Can it survive indoors on a regular windowsill?
A: It can survive with bright indirect light, but 'Hercules' performs best when rotated regularly so all sides of the rosette receive even light and develop that symmetrical shape properly.

Q: How do I propagate 'Hercules'?
A: Gently remove the offsets, or chicks, that form around the base of the mother rosette and pot them separately. Leaf propagation is also possible, though offsets are faster and more reliable.

Q: Can it spend the entire summer outside?
A: Move 'Hercules' to a covered area during rain to protect the leaves, and bring it back inside when temperatures drop in autumn.

    🌵 For Succulents
When your package arrives, you may notice a bit of loose soil in the box. This is completely normal during shipping.
Please remove your plants from their packaging right away and follow the care instructions included with your order. Succulents prefer to dry out between waterings, so only water when the soil is completely dry.
Succulents are resilient plants and typically recover quickly once they settle into their new environment. Give them a few days to adjust before placing them in direct sunlight, and avoid fertilizing right away.
