Sedum 'White Diamond' forms tight, jewel-like rosettes of small, fleshy leaves in a silvery-green to blue-green tone. The leaves are rounded and slightly cupped, creating a neat, compact appearance that clusters and clumps over time.
It produces white star-shaped flowers in summer, appearing in small but plentiful clusters across the rosettes. A slight drop in nighttime temperatures encourages more prolific blooming, so moving it outdoors in late summer or autumn coaxes out a fuller floral display.
It grows well in a sunny windowsill, on a wind-exposed balcony, or planted in the garden for summer and beyond. It tolerates drafty indoor spaces and dry heated air, and can stay outdoors well into autumn. You can leave it up to ten days without water. This plant is pet-friendly and grows well in 2" or 4" pots, rock gardens, or mixed with other sedums in container arrangements.
White Diamond Sedum Pachyclados grows well in bright indirect light, partial sun, or full sun, though intense south-facing windows may cause leaf scorch in peak summer.
