    •   Sedeveria 'Sorrento' is a compact hybrid succulent with soft, forest green leaves tinged white and vivid coral tones. This cross between Sedum and Echeveria combines the best traits of both parents into a slow-growing rosette that stays miniature.

The leaves form dense, tight rosettes that remain small enough for terrariums or tight shelves. Foliage shifts from forest green to coral-bronze as light intensity increases, with white waxy coating visible on the leaf surface. It develops bohemian or modern qualities depending on light and soil conditions.

Small yellow flowers appear in late spring to early summer, held just above the rosette on thin stems. Blooms are modest but prolific once the plant matures. It tolerates dry heated air indoors without leaf damage.

Move it outside for summer to boost color and strength, then bring it back in before frost. It can stay outdoors in autumn if nighttime temperatures remain above 40°F; cover it from rain to prevent crown rot. You can leave it up to ten days without water. It works beautifully in small terrariums, as a solo starter plant on a sunny sill, or nestled into succulent dish gardens. It is pet-friendly and safe for cats and dogs.

    •   Sedeveria 'Sorrento' grows well in direct sun or bright indirect light depending on your setup; it adapts to both conditions.

Water it when the soil is completely dry, typically every 10–14 days during spring and summer; reduce to monthly or less in winter.

'Sorrento' does best in gritty, well-draining succulent soil with extra perlite or coarse sand mixed in.

It prefers temperatures between 50°F and 80°F and tolerates a few degrees below freezing for short periods only.

'Sorrento' grows slowly and stays miniature; fertilize sparingly with diluted succulent fertilizer once in spring and once in early summer.

It is hardy in USDA zones 10–11 and survives brief frost down to about 30°F. It grows outdoors year-round in southern Florida, southern California, southern Texas, Hawaii, and the warmest parts of Arizona and coastal zones.

    • Q: How often should I water Sedeveria 'Sorrento'?
A: Check the soil moisture by inserting your finger an inch deep; water only when completely dry. In winter, the soil may stay dry for a month or longer.

Q: What kind of light does it need?
A: Sedeveria 'Sorrento' develops the strongest coral and bronze tones in direct sun, but it adapts well to bright indirect light too.

      Q: Is 'Sorrento' pet-friendly?
A: Yes, it is completely safe for cats and dogs; it contains no toxins or irritating sap.

      Q: Can I grow this outdoors year-round?
A: 'Sorrento' grows outdoors year-round in USDA zones 10–11. In colder zones, bring it inside before temperatures drop below 40°F or cover it from rain if left out in autumn.

Q: How do I propagate 'Sorrento'?
A: Detach individual leaves or small rosettes and let them dry for one to two days. Lay them on dry succulent soil and mist lightly every few days until roots form; new plants appear in 2–4 weeks.

Q: Will it survive a trip away from home?
A: Yes. 'Sorrento' can go up to ten days without water. As the soil dries, the leaves will soften and slightly wilt.

    🌵 For Succulents
When your package arrives, you may notice a bit of loose soil in the box. This is completely normal during shipping.
Please remove your plants from their packaging right away and follow the care instructions included with your order. Succulents prefer to dry out between waterings, so only water when the soil is completely dry.
Succulents are resilient plants and typically recover quickly once they settle into their new environment. Give them a few days to adjust before placing them in direct sunlight, and avoid fertilizing right away.
