    •   Pachyveria 'Orpet', also called Nausikaa, is a compact hybrid succulent from the cross between Pachyveria and Echeveria genera. It forms dense rosettes of small, plump leaves in powder-blue and forest green tones, often edged in white and pink.

The leaves are tightly packed in a geometric rosette that rarely exceeds 3 inches across. The plant maintains a low, spreading habit.

'Orpet' produces small pale pink flowers in spring. The rosette form remains the ornamental feature year-round, holding its compact architecture without pruning or training.

Move it outside in summer to intensify leaf color and encourage branching. You can leave it up to ten days without water. It wilts when the soil is very dry. It tolerates dry heated air indoors without leaf damage. This plant is pet-friendly and safe for cats and dogs. Propagation is straightforward: remove individual leaves or offsets and press them into dry succulent soil, where they root within two to three weeks. It works equally well as a starter plant or mature specimen in terrariums, on shelves, or in small containers.

    •   Pachyveria 'Orpet' grows well in direct sun to low-light conditions, developing the most vivid leaf color in bright, direct exposure.

Water it when the soil is completely dry, typically every 10–14 days during spring and summer, and once a month or less in fall and winter.

'Orpet' does best in well-draining succulent or cactus soil, amended with perlite or coarse sand to prevent moisture retention.

It prefers temperatures between 60–75°F and tolerates brief dips to 50°F without damage; protect it from frost below 32°F.

'Orpet' is a slow to moderate grower that rarely needs fertilizer; feed it once in spring with diluted succulent fertilizer if desired.

It is hardy in USDA zones 10–11 and grows outdoors year-round in southern California, southern Florida, Hawaii, and southern Texas where winter temperatures stay above 32°F.

Perfect For Every Occasion: housewarming, wedding favor, birthday party favor, graduation gift, thank-you gift, corporate or client gift, new baby, holiday or stocking filler

A Thoughtful Gift For: a plant-loving friend, someone starting fresh, your spouse or partner, coworkers and colleagues, green-thumbed grandparents, collectors of succulents

    • Q: How often should I water Pachyveria 'Orpet'?
A: Check the soil moisture by pressing your finger an inch down; water only when the soil feels bone-dry. In winter, extend intervals to once a month or longer.

Q: Can this plant tolerate low light?
A: Pachyveria 'Orpet' adapts to low-light conditions, though leaf color will be less vivid than in direct sun; the rosette remains compact and healthy either way.

Q: How fast does 'Orpet' grow?
A: It grows slowly and rarely needs repotting; one pot size increase every 2–3 years is typical even with good care.

Q: Is this succulent pet safe?
A: Yes. 'Orpet' is non-toxic and safe for cats and dogs if nibbled or ingested.

Q: Can Nausikaa survive a trip without water?
A: Yes. The leaves will soften and slightly wilt when the soil has been dry for an extended period.

Q: How do I propagate this plant?
A: Nausikaa propagates easily from leaf cuttings or offsets; lay them on dry succulent soil and roots will emerge in two to three weeks.

    🌵 For Succulents
When your package arrives, you may notice a bit of loose soil in the box. This is completely normal during shipping.
Please remove your plants from their packaging right away and follow the care instructions included with your order. Succulents prefer to dry out between waterings, so only water when the soil is completely dry.
Succulents are resilient plants and typically recover quickly once they settle into their new environment. Give them a few days to adjust before placing them in direct sunlight, and avoid fertilizing right away.
