    •   Pachyveria 'Hanabijin' is a compact blue-green succulent in the Crassulaceae family, native to Mexico. It forms tight rosettes of fleshy leaves and remains small enough for shelves, desks, and container gardens.

The leaves are icy blue-gray with pink or white blush at the tips, arranged in a neat rosette that rarely exceeds 3 inches across. Each leaf is plump and slightly pointed, creating a soft, geometric form. It grows slowly and stays miniature.

'Hanabijin' produces small pale yellow or white flowers in spring when mature enough.

Move it outside for summer once nighttime temperatures stay above 50°F. It tolerates dry, heated indoor air and needs cover from rain if left outdoors, as wet conditions cause rot. Keep it on a high shelf or out of reach of pets, as cats and dogs shouldn't nibble on or eat the plant. You can leave it up to ten days without water. It releases oxygen at night, making it a living addition to a bedroom or office. Place it in direct sun or bright indirect light depending on your setup; it grows well in both. 'Hanabijin' works well in succulent collections, fairy gardens, or solo on a sunny sill as a starter plant or mature specimen.

    •   Pachyveria 'Hanabijin' grows well in direct sun or bright indirect light; leaf color deepens in stronger conditions.

Water it every 10–14 days during the growing season, allowing soil to dry completely between waterings. Reduce frequency to monthly or longer in winter.

'Hanabijin' does best in well-draining succulent or cactus soil mixed with perlite or coarse sand.

It prefers temperatures between 50–75°F and tolerates dry, heated air indoors without stress.

'Hanabijin' is a slow-growing compact rosette that rarely needs fertilizer; feed lightly in spring if desired.

It is hardy in USDA zones 9–11. It grows outdoors in southern California, Arizona, Texas, Florida, coastal Oregon, and Hawaii, tolerating frost down to 20°F.

Q: Is 'Hanabijin' safe around pets?
A: Keep it out of reach of cats and dogs, as they shouldn't nibble on or eat the plant.

Q: How long can this plant go without water?
A: 'Hanabijin' can survive alone for up to ten days without watering.

Q: Can 'Hanabijin' live indoors year-round?
A: Yes, it grows well indoors on a sunny windowsill or shelf and releases oxygen at night.

Q: How do I propagate this plant?
A: 'Hanabijin' grows from leaf cuttings or separated offsets; allow cuttings to dry for one day, then place them on dry soil until roots form.

    🌵 For Succulents
When your package arrives, you may notice a bit of loose soil in the box. This is completely normal during shipping.
Please remove your plants from their packaging right away and follow the care instructions included with your order. Succulents prefer to dry out between waterings, so only water when the soil is completely dry.
Succulents are resilient plants and typically recover quickly once they settle into their new environment. Give them a few days to adjust before placing them in direct sunlight, and avoid fertilizing right away.
