    •   Mammillaria elongata 'Copper King', also called Lady Finger Cactus, is a distinctive succulent cactus native to central Mexico. This desert plant forms dense clusters of elongated, finger-like stems, making it a popular choice for enthusiasts. It is a beginner-friendly cactus with basic care requirements.

The stems of 'Copper King' are cylindrical and covered in short, star-like spines that often appear copper-colored in bright light. These stems grow in a clumping habit, forming attractive mounds over time. Its dense growth creates a unique visual appeal.

'Copper King' produces small flowers that can be white, pale yellow, or pink, often appearing in a ring around the top of the stems during late winter to early spring. To encourage blooming, it needs a night temperature drop during cooler months. This plant produces pollen and allergens when it flowers.

You can leave it up to ten days without water. This plant tolerates dry heated air indoors. It releases oxygen at night, which is a unique trait for a succulent. It is pet-friendly, but dangerous if ingested by pets; keep it on a high shelf out of reach as it is a hazard for toddlers.

    •   Mammillaria elongata 'Copper King' grows well in direct sun and tolerates low-light conditions, but needs rotating for even growth.

Water it every 2-3 weeks during the growing season, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. You can leave it up to ten days without water.

'Copper King' does best in a well-draining cactus and succulent mix, ideally with mineral grit like pumice or perlite.

It prefers temperatures between 60-75°F during the day and needs a night temperature drop to encourage blooming. It tolerates dry heated air.

'Copper King' is a slow grower that forms dense clumps and can reach up to 8 inches tall. Fertilize it once a year in spring with a balanced succulent fertilizer.

It is hardy in USDA zones 9-11. It grows outdoors in Florida, California, Arizona, and parts of Texas, but needs cover from rain. It can move outside for summer in cooler zones.

Perfect For Every Occasion: housewarming, corporate or client gift, employee appreciation, thank-you gift, birthday party favor, graduation gift, just because, holiday or stocking filler

    🌵 For Succulents
When your package arrives, you may notice a bit of loose soil in the box. This is completely normal during shipping.
Please remove your plants from their packaging right away and follow the care instructions included with your order. Succulents prefer to dry out between waterings, so only water when the soil is completely dry.
Succulents are resilient plants and typically recover quickly once they settle into their new environment. Give them a few days to adjust before placing them in direct sunlight, and avoid fertilizing right away.
