    •   Faumatium hybrid, also called Faumatium Hybrid, is a compact succulent formed from a cross between Faucaria and Stomatium, two genera native to South Africa. It inherits the fleshy, geometric foliage of its parents and is favored for indoor collections and rock gardens.

The leaves are small and tightly clustered, arranged in dense rosettes that form low, spreading mounds. Foliage ranges from forest green to white, sometimes showing vivid color shifts in strong light. The texture is slightly waxy, and the growth habit remains compact, spreading gradually as offsets fill in around the base.

In late summer and early fall, Faumatium x Stomatium produces small yellow flowers that emerge from between the leaf clusters. Blooms appear year after year on mature plants. It also shows resilience in low-light conditions and tolerates dry, heated indoor air that would stress many succulents.

Move it outside in summer to any sunny spot; it can remain outdoors through frost in fall and winter in most zones. The plant needs protection from heavy rain but handles wind without issue. You can leave it up to ten days without water. Faumatium x Stomatium works equally well in shallow containers, rock gardens, or terrariums, and propagates easily from individual leaf rosettes or offsets.

    •   Faumatium hybrid grows well in direct sun but tolerates low-light indoor locations without leggy growth.

Water it every 10–14 days during spring and summer when the soil is completely dry; reduce to once monthly in fall and winter.

Faumatium x Stomatium grows well in cactus or succulent mix amended with extra perlite or coarse sand for fast drainage.

It prefers temperatures between 50–70°F and is frost-tolerant, surviving extended freezes below 20°F when soil remains dry.

Faumatium x Stomatium is a slow to moderate clumping grower and needs little to no fertilizer; light feeding in spring is optional.

It is hardy in USDA zones 3–8, withstanding winter temperatures as low as −20°F when protected from excess moisture. It grows outdoors year-round in zones 7–8, including Tennessee, North Carolina, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, California, and parts of Arizona and New Mexico.

    • Q: How often should I water Faumatium hybrid?
A: During spring and summer, water when the soil is completely dry; this typically occurs every 10–14 days. In fall and winter, reduce to once monthly or less.

Q: Can it survive a trip without water?
A: Faumatium hybrid remains firm and hydrated for up to ten days after thorough watering and extends even longer without water during cool months when growth slows.

Q: Does Faumatium x Stomatium need direct sun?
A: It adapts to both direct sun and low-light locations. Leaf colors shift and intensify in bright conditions but remain stable indoors away from windows.

Q: How big does it get?
A: Faumatium x Stomatium stays low and spreading, typically 2–4 inches tall with a spread of 4–6 inches at maturity as offsets cluster around the base.

      Q: Is Faumatium Hybrid pet-friendly?
A: Yes, it is non-toxic to cats, dogs, and other household pets.

Q: How do I propagate it?
A: Faumatium Hybrid propagates easily from individual leaf rosettes or offset clusters removed from the base. Allow them to dry one day, then place on dry soil and mist lightly every few days until roots form.

    🌵 For Succulents
When your package arrives, you may notice a bit of loose soil in the box. This is completely normal during shipping.
Please remove your plants from their packaging right away and follow the care instructions included with your order. Succulents prefer to dry out between waterings, so only water when the soil is completely dry.
Succulents are resilient plants and typically recover quickly once they settle into their new environment. Give them a few days to adjust before placing them in direct sunlight, and avoid fertilizing right away.
