The leaves are short, club-shaped, and densely covered in soft, hair-like papillae that give the foliage a fuzzy texture. Growth forms a tight, low rosette that rarely exceeds a few inches tall. The gray-green foliage can shift toward purple or red tones when exposed to direct sun.
'Pickle Plant' produces small, magenta-pink flowers that bloom in late spring through summer. The blooms appear atop short stems and persist for several weeks during the growing season. Houseplants may need a short adjustment period after arrival. Give your plant time to acclimate to its new space before placing it with other plants. You can gently clean the leaves if needed, and wait to fertilize until it has settled in. Always check soil moisture instead of watering on a fixed schedule.
