The leaves are large, arrow-shaped, and deep green with pale silver-green veining running across the surface in a feathered pattern. Underneath, each leaf is a deep burgundy-red, and the stems are pink with a scaly texture that gives the plant its name. 'Pink Dragon' holds its leaves upright on tall, sturdy petioles, and the contrast between the silvery upper surface and the colored undersides is visible from multiple angles.
As a foliage-forward aroid, 'Pink Dragon' rarely flowers indoors, and bloom information for cultivated specimens is limited, so flower details are not listed here. It does, however, purify indoor air by filtering formaldehyde and other airborne toxins, and it naturally adds humidity to the surrounding air through transpiration. The plant is also a rare find in the houseplant market, which makes it a frequent target for aroid collectors.
Rotate 'Pink Dragon' every few weeks so all sides receive even light exposure. It is sensitive to being moved between locations, and frequent repositioning can trigger leaf drop, so choose a spot and keep it there. Move it outside for the summer in a sheltered area with cover from rain, then bring it back indoors before temperatures drop. Keep it away from air conditioning vents and heating units, as dry blowing air causes the leaf edges to brown and curl.

A: It thrives at 60% humidity or higher. A humidifier, pebble tray with water, or placement near a kitchen sink all help maintain that level.

A: Alocasia Pink Dragon should be kept well out of reach of pets. The sap can cause skin and paw irritation on contact, and cats and dogs should not be left to nibble or eat the plant.

A: It can manage under bright LED office lighting placed directly overhead, though growth will be slower than near a window.

Please remove your plants from their packaging as soon as possible and review the care instructions included with your order. Water based on your plant’s needs, making sure not to overwater.
Houseplants may need a short adjustment period after arrival. Give your plant time to acclimate to its new space before placing it with other plants. You can gently clean the leaves if needed, and wait to fertilize until it has settled in. Always check soil moisture instead of watering on a fixed schedule.
