    •   Senecio Serpens, also called Blue Chalksticks, is a compact drought-tolerant succulent in the Senecio family. It originates from South Africa, where it grows as ground cover in arid regions.

        The leaves are finger-like and cylindrical with blue-grey coloration and a powdery texture. Fleshy foliage grows upright in clustering mats, with silvery-blue stems that curve slightly, creating dense formations. Each leaf resembles a tiny chalk stick, which gives the plant its common name among finger succulents.

        Small white daisy-like flowers appear on mature plants during warmer months, though this succulent is grown primarily for its foliage. It shows wilting when dry, making care straightforward. You can leave it up to ten days without water.

        Move it outside for summer, where it handles balcony wind and rain without trouble. It needs protection from heavy downpours.
