It grows in an upright, clustering habit with arching stems lined with stacked, rounded blue-green paddle-shaped leaves. Each leaf wears a slightly powdery coating and develops rosy-pink to reddish margins when given bright light. 
Kalanchoe Panamensis is a winter blooming succulent, producing clusters of small, pendulous coral to orange-pink tubular flowers from late winter into spring. A drop in nighttime temperatures around 55 to 60°F in autumn for four to six weeks triggers blooming. The plant releases oxygen at night, a bonus for bedroom placement. 
You can leave it up to ten days without water. Move it outdoors in summer to boost growth, but keep it under cover away from heavy rain. Keep it on a high shelf well out of reach of cats, dogs, and small children, as they should not nibble or eat the plant. 
Kalanchoe Panamensis - Kalanchoe marnieriana grows well in bright indirect light or partial sun, though direct south-window sun can scorch its leaves. 
Water it deeply every 10 to 14 days in summer, reducing to once every 3 to 4 weeks in winter, letting soil dry fully between waterings. 
Kalanchoe Panamensis does best in a fast-draining cactus and perlite mix to prevent root rot. 
It prefers temperatures between 60 and 85°F and should be protected from frost below 50°F. 
It is hardy in USDA zones 9 to 11, tolerating temperatures down to around 25 to 30°F only briefly and with protection. It grows outdoors year-round in Florida, Hawaii, Southern California, coastal Oregon, Texas, Arizona, Nevada, Louisiana, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, and Mississippi. Parts of New Mexico, North Carolina, and the milder pockets of the Pacific Northwest can also support it with seasonal shelter.
