It grows well in warm, dry conditions with bright seasonal light and is a popular calandiva orange kalanchoe cultivar for its long-lasting blooms and beginner-friendly care.

        Calandiva Orange grows in an upright, clumping habit with glossy, scallop-edged leaves that are deep green and fleshy. The compact clustering form stays tidy and full, making it an excellent choice for windowsills, desks, and shelves. Its dense rosette-style flower heads sit above the foliage in tight, layered clusters, setting it apart from single-flowered Flaming Katy varieties.

        Calandiva Orange produces double blooms in orange that last for weeks at a time. Like all rosebud kalanchoe varieties, it is a short-day plant, needing a drop in nighttime temperatures and longer dark periods to set new flower buds.
