  •   Echeveria Fleur Blanc is a pearlescent succulent in the Crassulaceae family that originated in the semi-arid highlands of Mexico and Central America. Like all echeverias, it evolved to grow in bright light and fast-draining soils, making it accessible to beginners that handles neglect well.

The plant forms pale green rosettes with thick, fleshy leaves coated in soft white farina, creating a luminous, powdery appearance. The leaves stack into tight, symmetrical formations that naturally cluster over time, and that waxy white coating serves a functional role in managing heat and moisture loss. Each rosette grows 3-5 inches wide before offsetting to create a fuller display.

It needs a nightly temperature drop to flower, but when conditions align, it produces flower stalks rising from the rosette center. The plant also releases oxygen at night, so it functions well in bedrooms and living spaces. You can leave it up to ten days without water.

Move it outside in summer, but keep it covered from rain since excess moisture on the farina causes spotting or rot. The plant is pet-friendly for cats and dogs, so placement around the home is flexible. Rotate it regularly for even growth, and keep it away from AC and heater vents, which stress the foliage. Propagation is straightforward using offsets that form at the base of the mother rosette.

  •   Echeveria Fleur Blanc grows well in bright indirect light to partial sun, with morning direct sun being ideal for compact growth.

Water it every 10-14 days in summer and every 3-4 weeks in winter, using the soak-and-dry method and letting soil dry completely between waterings.

'Fleur Blanc' grows well in a gritty, fast-draining cactus and succulent mix amended with perlite for optimal root health.

It prefers temperatures between 65-80°F and should be protected from temperatures below 40°F, which cause stress and damage.

'Fleur Blanc' is a slow to moderate grower that benefits from diluted succulent fertilizer applied once monthly during the active growing season.

It is hardy in USDA zones 9-11, tolerating brief dips to around 25-30°F but doing well with frost protection. It grows outdoors year-round in California, Arizona, Texas, Florida, Hawaii, Louisiana, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, and Nevada. It also grows in zone 9 pockets of Oregon, coastal North Carolina, and New Mexico as a patio or container plant.
  • Q: How often should I water Echeveria Fleur Blanc?
A: During the growing season, water every 10-14 days. In winter, extend the interval to every 3-4 weeks. Check the soil before watering; if moisture remains, wait several more days.

    Q: Is this plant pet-friendly?
A: Echeveria Fleur Blanc is completely safe for cats and dogs and non-toxic if ingested.

Q: What light does 'Fleur Blanc' need indoors?
A: A bright window with indirect light or a few hours of gentle morning sun works best. Avoid harsh south-facing windows in summer, as the white-coated leaves can scorch in intense afternoon heat.

Q: How big does it get?
A: 'Fleur Blanc' reaches 3-5 inches in diameter per rosette and gradually offsets at the base to form wider clusters over time.

Q: How do I propagate 'Fleur Blanc'?
A: Remove healthy offsets forming at the base of the mother rosette, let the cut end callous for one or two days, then plant in dry succulent mix without watering initially.

Q: Why is my plant drooping?
A: 'Fleur Blanc' wilts when soil is bone dry, but overwatering causes the more persistent drooping. Ensure the pot has drainage holes and the soil dries out fully between waterings.

    🌵 For Succulents
When your package arrives, you may notice a bit of loose soil in the box. This is completely normal during shipping.
Please remove your plants from their packaging right away and follow the care instructions included with your order. Succulents prefer to dry out between waterings, so only water when the soil is completely dry.
Succulents are resilient plants and typically recover quickly once they settle into their new environment. Give them a few days to adjust before placing them in direct sunlight, and avoid fertilizing right away.
