Hoya Wayetti is a tropical wax vine from the Philippines, belonging to the Apocynaceae family. It is a rare trailing hoya that grows naturally in humid forest environments where it clings and cascades through the canopy.

It is immediately recognizable by its narrow, elongated leaves that emerge green and develop dark red to burgundy margins when given bright indirect light. The foliage is thick and waxy with a slightly succulent feel, and the vines trail freely as the plant grows.

Hoya Wayetti produces clusters of small, star-shaped flowers in deep red to maroon tones, often with a contrasting center. Blooms tend to appear when the plant experiences a slight drop in nighttime temperatures, particularly in autumn. The flowers carry a light, sweet fragrance.

It works well in hanging baskets and on high shelves where the vines can trail downward.
