    •   Hoya 'Rope Plant' Variegated (Hoya carnosa compacta variegata) is a rare collector hoya from the Apocynaceae family, native to East Asia and Australia where it naturally climbs and trails through humid tropical environments. This slow-growing trailing plant has captured plant lovers worldwide with its sculptural, twisting foliage and variegation.

        Hoya Carnosa Variegata produces densely packed, curled and cupped leaves that spiral along cascading vines, creating a rope-like appearance unlike almost any other houseplant. Each leaf shows a blend of deep green, creamy white, and soft yellow variegation, with a waxy, succulent-like texture. The trailing habit makes it a standout in a hanging basket, where those twisting ropes drape downward along the length of the vines.

        When given a slight night temperature drop, it produces clusters of small, star-shaped pink and white waxy blooms that carry a sweet, honey-like fragrance. Flowers emerge from spurs on mature vines and should never be trimmed, as the plant reblooms from the same points season after season.
