ZZ Plant, or Zamioculcas Zamiifolia is a flowering plant species of the Araceae family. With its broad, beautiful, dark green leaves, the ZZ plant has numerous advantages for offices and houses.
ZZ Plant is a slow grower and can reach approximately 36” tall when potted indoors. This is an perennial plant with an air-purifying and toxin-removing effect and according to some studies, it is particularly effective at eliminating pollutants like as xylene, toluene, and benzene from the air.
The ZZ plant produces little blooms near the plant's base. The flower is of the spathe type, with a spadix that is difficult to notice even as it grows since leaves can cover the blooms, which develop at the base of the stems.

The Zamioculcas Zamiifolia thrives well under low light conditions. However, avoid direct sunlight to prevent sunburn.
ZZ plants or Zanzibar gems, are drought-tolerant plants. Only water when the soil is dry to the touch and leave the soil to dry in between waterings.
Well-draining soil.
This plant thrives in temperatures of 60°F-65°F. It is vital to ensure the room temperature does not fall below 45°F.
This plant should be fertilized once during the growing season (spring/summer) with diluted houseplant fertilizer.
This plant is mildly toxic, so keep it out of reach of pets and children.
