Spathiphyllum Green, commonly known as Peace Lily, holds a special place in the hearts of plant enthusiasts worldwide. As one of the most popular flowering houseplants, it's often chosen as a gift plant for its elegance and versatility.
This plant boasts lush, deep green foliage that is both elegant and striking. The leaves are typically broad and lance-shaped, creating a delightful contrast to its pristine white flowers. These dark green leaves provide a rich backdrop for the blooms, further enhancing Peace Lily's aesthetic appeal. Peace Lily is renowned for its pure white, graceful blooms that symbolize tranquility and serenity. These exquisite flowers, nestled amidst lush, deep green foliage, have earned the plant its cherished reputation. As for its growth habit, Peace Lily typically forms a dense, upright clump of foliage. This growth habit gives the plant a robust and compact appearance, making it a wonderful choice for both tabletops and floor displays.
What sets Peace Lily apart is its exceptional air-purifying abilities. It's among the top choices on NASA's list of air-purifying plants, effectively removing common indoor pollutants like formaldehyde, benzene, and ammonia.
The Spathiphyllum Green Peace Lily, with its elegant white blooms and lush green foliage, is a symbol of peace and purity in Feng Shui. It is believed to purify the air and bring harmony and positive energy to your home. Placing a Peace Lily in your living space can promote a sense of calm, reduce stress, and attract good fortune.
This plant is adaptable to various light conditions, but it truly shines in bright, indirect sunlight. It can tolerate low-light areas, but this may reduce its flowering.
Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. This plant is forgiving and can tolerate slightly drought conditions.
Well-draining potting mix is essential to prevent root rot. A mix designed for houseplants or tropicals works well.
Peace Lily prefers a temperature range of 65°F to 80°F during the day. It can tolerate slightly cooler temperatures at night, but avoid exposing it to temperatures below 50°F. While Peace Lilies can adapt to average indoor humidity, they truly flourish in higher humidity environments (above 50%).
Feed your Peace Lily with a balanced, liquid houseplant fertilizer every 6-8 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). This keeps the foliage lush and encourages blooming.
Peace Lily contains calcium oxalates, which can cause various health issues if ingested. Keep this plant out of reach of pets and children.

Provide porous soil with adequate drainage, pots with drainage hole are recommended. Bright, filtered
light and ample airflow. Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch. Never let your succulents sit in water. Do
NOT water on the leaves. If you water from beneath by letting the plant sit in a saucer of water, make sure to pour
off any excess water after a few minutes.
The hotter it is outside, the faster your soil will dry out, so you’ll need to water more often if you live in a hot
area. Water with caution in winter, as the plant can lose its roots if the soil stays cold and wet for extended
periods; protect from frost to prevent scarring.
