This frost tolerant perennial evolved in rocky, exposed terrain where drought and cold are part of everyday conditions, bringing that same rugged resilience to gardens and windowsills.

        'Worstiana' forms tight, sculptural rosettes with fleshy leaves edged in fine hairs that catch the light. The foliage shifts between red and deep purple tones depending on sun exposure and season, creating a dense, jewel-toned mat as rosettes cluster and spread over time.

        It is a slow to moderate grower with year-round visual appeal through its clustering habit and intense leaf coloration. It performs as well on balconies and in rock gardens as it does in containers, handling wind and dry air.
