    •   Sempervivum heuffelii 'Green Stone' is a rare, cold-hardy succulent in the Crassulaceae family, native to the rocky alpine terrain of southeastern Europe. Unlike common hens and chicks varieties, this species belongs to a distinct group sought after by collectors for its tight, architectural rosettes and exceptional frost tolerance.

        Green Stone forms compact, upright lime green rosettes with smooth, fleshy leaves edged in subtle points. The rosettes cluster outward over time, producing a spreading mat of identical offsets. Its clean, cool green tones remain steady year-round, shifting slightly with seasonal temperature changes.

        Individual rosettes are monocarpic, meaning each blooms once then gives way to the surrounding offsets, keeping the cluster full. Green Stone requires a night temperature drop to trigger blooming, a natural signal it would experience in its alpine habitat.
