    •   Sempervivum Dolle Dina's is a cold hardy hens and chicks succulent from the Crassulaceae family, native to the mountainous regions of Europe and Asia. In its native rocky, windswept terrain, it evolved to grow on minimal water and harsh seasonal swings.

        'Dolle Dina' forms tight, symmetrical rosettes with fleshy leaves in lime green with deep red-tipped edges. The rosettes cluster and spread steadily, sending out small offsets that fill containers and garden beds with layered density. Leaf color intensifies in sunlight, shifting toward burgundy-red at the tips as the seasons change.

        Like all hens and chicks, it is monocarpic, meaning the mother rosette flowers once and then dies back naturally while the surrounding offsets continue growing. It handles outdoor conditions without weakness—balcony wind, rain, drafty indoor spots, and dry heated air all cause no stress.

        'Dolle Dina' suits rock gardens, container arrangements, sunny windowsills, and even green roofs. Move it outside in summer and leave it there well into autumn. You can leave it up to ten days without water. It survives year-round in most temperate climates outdoors. Cats and dogs cannot be harmed by it.
