The plant features deep green, oval to elliptical leaves that are 2-4 inches long, with a distinctly waxy texture that gives the wax plant its common name. Some varieties have silvery flecks across the leaf surface. It produces long, flexible vines that trail over the edges of hanging baskets or high shelves.
Hoya Carnosa blooms with clusters of small, star-shaped flowers in soft pink and white, each with a porcelain-like, glistening appearance that inspired the porcelain flower nickname. The flowers carry a sweet, honey-like fragrance and typically appear from spring through summer, often returning year after year on the same flower spurs. A slight drop in nighttime temperatures helps trigger blooming, and once buds form, the plant prefers to stay in one location.

Please remove your plants from their packaging as soon as possible and review the care instructions included with your order. Water based on your plant’s needs, making sure not to overwater.
Houseplants may need a short adjustment period after arrival. Give your plant time to acclimate to its new space before placing it with other plants. You can gently clean the leaves if needed, and wait to fertilize until it has settled in. Always check soil moisture instead of watering on a fixed schedule.
