Peperomia Hope is a hybrid cultivar between Peperomia deppeana x quadrifolia. This evergreen plant has lovely trailing vines and fleshy coin-shaped leaves which grow in clusters (with 3-4 leaves) along those trailing stems. The leaves have a lovely deep green color with light green stripes.
Peperomia Hope can trail up to several feet in length but it is compact and does not take much space. Hope is a perfect choice for both tall planters and hanging baskets.
Hope, as well as other Peperomia species, can purify the air and reduces the level of formaldehyde indoors.
Peperomia Hope, with its lush, rounded leaves, is a feng shui favorite known to attract positive energy and promote harmony in your home. Its low-maintenance nature and vibrant green foliage symbolize growth, prosperity, and good luck, making it an ideal choice for those seeking to enhance their space with both beauty and auspicious energy.
Peperomia Hope prefers bright, indirect sunlight, but it also tolerates medium-light conditions. Too little light, however, can slow down its growth and makes this plant leggy. Avoid harsh direct sun to prevent scorching leaves.
Peperomia Hope has a shallow root system so it is important not to overwater this plant to prevent root rot. Check the soil twice per week and only water when the top 1" of the soil is dry to the touch. Drain well after each watering and water less in the winter.
The best soil for this plant is well-drained, porous potting soil that can promote healthy root development.
This plant grows best in normal room temperatures (between 65°F-85°F). This plant is not frost-tolerant and it does not grow well when the temperature drops below 55°F. Peperomia Hope thrives in normal indoor humidity, and it is recommended that you mist your plant and use a humidifier when the environment is too dry (humidity level falls below 50%).
This plant should be fertilized once during the growing season (spring/summer) with diluted houseplant fertilizer.

Provide porous soil with adequate drainage, pots with drainage hole are recommended. Bright, filtered
light and ample airflow. Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch. Never let your succulents sit in water. Do
NOT water on the leaves. If you water from beneath by letting the plant sit in a saucer of water, make sure to pour
off any excess water after a few minutes.
The hotter it is outside, the faster your soil will dry out, so you’ll need to water more often if you live in a hot
area. Water with caution in winter, as the plant can lose its roots if the soil stays cold and wet for extended
periods; protect from frost to prevent scarring.
