  •   Echeveria 'Tynie Burger' is a compact rosette-forming succulent in the Crassulaceae family, bred as a hybrid from Mexican Echeveria species. It stays small and tight, with a dense, symmetrical form that makes it one of the more sought-after compact succulents in cultivation.

The rosette is made up of thick, spoon-shaped leaves that are pale green to blue-green with soft pink to lavender edges. A fine layer of farina coats the surface, giving each leaf a powdery, matte finish. The rosette typically stays under three inches across, staying low and tightly packed as it grows.

'Tynie Burger' produces slender arching stems tipped with small, bell-shaped blooms in coral to pink tones, usually in spring or early summer. A nighttime temperature drop encourages the plant to set flower buds, so moving it to a cooler spot in the evening through late winter can help trigger blooming.

Move it outside in summer, but keep it sheltered from rain to prevent water pooling in the rosette. 'Tynie Burger' is rare in the succulent trade, and its compact size suits windowsills, dish gardens, and small shelves. This plant is pet friendly. You can leave it up to ten days without water, and it wilts slightly when the soil has been dry too long.

  •   Echeveria 'Tynie Burger' grows well in bright indirect light but tolerates lower light under office LEDs.

Water it every ten to fourteen days, letting the soil dry out completely between waterings.

'Tynie Burger' does best in a fast-draining cactus or succulent mix amended with perlite.

It prefers temperatures between 65°F and 80°F and stays sensitive to cold drafts from AC vents or heaters.

'Tynie Burger' is a slow grower; feed it once in spring and once in summer with a diluted balanced fertilizer.

It is hardy in USDA zones 9b to 11b, tolerating brief dips down to around 25°F to 30°F. It grows outdoors year-round in California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Florida, Louisiana, Georgia, South Carolina, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. It can stay outdoors through autumn in zone 9b areas before overnight temperatures push below freezing.
  • Q: How much light does Echeveria 'Tynie Burger' need?
A: A bright east- or west-facing window works well. South-facing windows can scorch the leaves in summer, so keep it a foot or two back from the glass or use a sheer curtain.

Q: How do I know when to water this succulent?
A: Echeveria 'Tynie Burger' wilts slightly and the leaves lose a little firmness when it needs water. The soil should feel completely dry two or three inches down before you water again.

Q: Is 'Tynie Burger' safe for cats and dogs?
A: Yes, it is non-toxic and safe around cats and dogs.

Q: How fast does this succulent grow?
A: 'Tynie Burger' is a slow grower, typically adding just a leaf or two per growing season. Rotate it every few weeks so all sides receive equal light and the rosette stays even.

Q: Can 'Tynie Burger' handle air conditioning or heating vents indoors?
A: Keep it away from direct airflow from AC units or heating vents. The dry heated air itself is fine, but a constant stream of forced air dries the leaves unevenly and stresses the plant.

Q: Can this succulent be propagated at home?
A: 'Tynie Burger' can be propagated from individual leaves or offsets. Lay a healthy leaf on dry succulent mix and wait for a small rosette to form at the base over several weeks.

    🌵 For Succulents
When your package arrives, you may notice a bit of loose soil in the box. This is completely normal during shipping.
Please remove your plants from their packaging right away and follow the care instructions included with your order. Succulents prefer to dry out between waterings, so only water when the soil is completely dry.
Succulents are resilient plants and typically recover quickly once they settle into their new environment. Give them a few days to adjust before placing them in direct sunlight, and avoid fertilizing right away.
