'Domingo' forms a compact, symmetrical rosette of plump, spoon-shaped leaves with a powdery blue-green finish that deepens in bright light. The farina coating gives each leaf a frosted appearance, and the foliage shifts through soft pastel hues as seasons change. Rosettes stay small and tidy, fitting neatly into 4" pots and working well in mixed succulent arrangements.
Given the right conditions, 'Domingo' produces arching flower stalks that rise from the rosette. A nighttime temperature drop mimics the plant's native seasonal cycles and encourages blooming. The color of the leaves intensifies throughout the year as light conditions shift.
Move it outside in summer to soak up extra sun, then bring it back inside before hard frosts and protect it from heavy rain. You can leave it up to ten days without water. Pet owners can grow it without concern—it is non-toxic to cats and dogs. Propagate it readily from leaf cuttings or offsets that form around the base of the mother rosette; simply let cuttings callous for a day or two before placing them on well-draining soil.
Echeveria 'Domingo' grows well in bright indirect light, partial sun, or full sun with at least four to six hours of daily light.
Water it deeply every ten to fourteen days in summer and cut back to once a month in winter.
'Domingo' does best in a gritty, fast-draining cactus and perlite mix that prevents soggy roots.
It prefers temperatures between 60 and 80°F and should be protected from frost below 25°F.
It is hardy in USDA zones 9 through 11, tolerating brief dips to around 25°F before needing protection. It grows outdoors year-round in California, Texas, Arizona, Florida, Hawaii, Nevada, Louisiana, Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama, and in coastal areas of Oregon and Washington.

Succulents are resilient plants and typically recover quickly once they settle into their new environment. Give them a few days to adjust before placing them in direct sunlight, and avoid fertilizing right away.
