  •   Echeveria Culibra Succulent is a rosette-forming succulent in the Crassulaceae family, native to the semi-arid highlands of Mexico. Like other Echeveria species, it evolved in rocky, well-drained terrain with bright sun and minimal rainfall, making it naturally adapted to low-water conditions.

It forms tight, symmetrical rosettes with fleshy, spoon-shaped leaves that blend gray-green tones with pink to red blush along the tips and edges. As it matures, the plant offsets freely into clustering colonies, expanding outward from the base. Under bright light, the leaf tones shift deeper pink and red across the surface and margins.

When nighttime temperatures drop in autumn, the pink and red hues deepen further, and cooler nights trigger bloom stalks to emerge. The flowers are coral to orange-red, rising on arching stems above the rosette for a seasonal display.

Move it outside in summer and early autumn, sheltering it from heavy rain to protect the roots and rosette center. You can leave it up to ten days without water. It tolerates the dry heated air common in most homes and remains non-toxic to cats and dogs.

  •   Echeveria Culibra Succulent grows well in bright indirect light to full sun, rotating quarterly for even, balanced rosette growth.

Water it deeply every 10 to 14 days in summer, reducing to once every 3 to 4 weeks in winter.

Echeveria Culibra does best in a gritty, fast-draining cactus and perlite mix to prevent root rot.

It prefers temperatures between 65 and 80°F and should be brought indoors before frost threatens.

Echeveria Culibra is a slow to moderate grower that benefits from diluted balanced fertilizer once in spring and once in early summer.

It is hardy in USDA zones 9 through 11, tolerating brief dips to around 25°F but performing best above freezing. It grows outdoors year-round in Florida, California, Texas, Arizona, Hawaii, Louisiana, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, and Nevada. Coastal areas of Oregon, Washington, and North Carolina as well as parts of New Mexico and Arkansas within these zones also support it with minimal winter protection.
  • Q: How often should I water Echeveria Culibra Succulent?
A: During the growing season, allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. In winter, water once every 3 to 4 weeks instead of the standard 10 to 14 day summer schedule.

Q: Is it safe to keep around pets?
A: Echeveria Culibra Succulent is non-toxic to cats and dogs, though the sap may cause mild skin or paw irritation with prolonged contact.

Q: How much light does Echeveria Culibra need?
A: At least 4 to 6 hours of bright indirect light or full sun daily. Rotate the pot regularly so every side of the rosette receives even light exposure.

Q: Can it grow outdoors year-round?
A: Echeveria Culibra grows outdoors year-round in USDA zones 9 to 11. In cooler regions, move it inside before frost arrives.

Q: How do I propagate Echeveria Culibra?
A: Separate well-rooted offsets that form naturally around the base of the mother rosette and pot them up in fresh gritty cactus mix.

    Q: Is this plant beginner-friendly?
A: Echeveria Culibra survives extended dry periods between waterings and adapts to the low humidity and heated air in most indoor homes without fussing.

    🌵 For Succulents
When your package arrives, you may notice a bit of loose soil in the box. This is completely normal during shipping.
Please remove your plants from their packaging right away and follow the care instructions included with your order. Succulents prefer to dry out between waterings, so only water when the soil is completely dry.
Succulents are resilient plants and typically recover quickly once they settle into their new environment. Give them a few days to adjust before placing them in direct sunlight, and avoid fertilizing right away.
