'Zenzi' stays noticeably smaller than the standard ZZ, typically reaching 12 to 18 inches tall. The leaves are small, oval, and deeply curved inward, forming tightly packed arching stems with glossy dark green foliage. The leaflets layer closely together along each stem, giving the plant a denser, more clustered appearance than its parent species.
Like the standard ZZ plant, 'Zenzi' rarely flowers indoors and no reliable bloom information is confirmed for this cultivar under typical household conditions. It is, however, a confirmed air-purifying plant that filters formaldehyde and other indoor toxins from the surrounding air. Rotate it occasionally so all sides receive even light exposure, since growth can lean toward the light source over time.
You can leave it up to ten days without water, and it handles the dry heated air common in homes with central heating or air conditioning running through winter. Keep 'Zenzi' away from direct airflow from AC vents or heaters, as that direct draft affects the leaves. Move it outside for summer in a sheltered spot, and bring it back indoors before autumn temperatures drop. Cats and dogs shouldn't be left to nibble or eat the plant, and the sap can cause skin or paw irritation on contact, so a high shelf keeps it out of reach of both pets and small children.
Zamioculcas Zamiifolia 'Zenzi' (Dwarf ZZ Plant) grows well under bright indirect light and handles medium light, including office fluorescent or LED setups. Avoid south-facing windows where direct sun can scorch the leaves.

You can gently clean the leaves if needed, and wait to fertilize until it has settled in. Always check soil moisture instead of watering on a fixed schedule.
