The leaves are heart-shaped with a waxy, smooth texture and deep green color that stays saturated even in moderate light. Unlike variegated pothos varieties, it leans into pure, uniform green without any cream or white markings. The vines cascade naturally from hanging baskets or shelves, and leaves grow larger in brighter conditions, creating dense trailing growth that fills a space quickly.
Epipremnum Aureum 'Jade' rarely flowers indoors. The plant filters formaldehyde and other common household toxins from indoor air. It also naturally humidifies the space around it, adding moisture to dry rooms.
You can leave it up to ten days without water. Rotate the pot regularly so all sides receive even light and the vines grow uniformly full. Keep it away from heating and cooling vents, which dry out the soil faster than normal. The sap and leaves are toxic to cats and dogs, so position it on a high shelf or hanging hook well out of reach. Move it outside in summer if you like; it handles balcony conditions without trouble. You can gently clean the leaves if needed, and wait to fertilize until it has settled in. Always check soil moisture instead of watering on a fixed schedule.
