Chamaedorea Elegans grows as a slender, upright palm with arching, feathery fronds made of narrow, lance-shaped leaflets in deep green. Each stem rises from a cluster of thin canes, creating an airy silhouette that works in modern and traditional rooms alike. It starts compact enough for tabletops and matures into a floor plant over time as a slow grower.

Mature plants produce small clusters of tiny yellow flowers on slender, branching stems, though indoor blooming is infrequent and depends on age and light conditions. A: Parlor Palm develops yellow leaves from overwatering, low humidity, cold drafts from AC or heaters, or compacted soil with poor drainage. Adjust watering frequency and move it away from air vents.

Q: What happens if Chamaedorea Elegans gets direct sun?
A: The fronds scorch in harsh south-facing windows. Indirect light or filtered morning sun works better.

You can gently clean the leaves if needed, and wait to fertilize until it has settled in. Always check soil moisture instead of watering on a fixed schedule.
