This exceptional collector plant belongs to the Crassulaceae family and represents the cristata form, where the growing point fans out into distinctive crested patterns that make each specimen uniquely sculptural.

        The fan-shaped crested growth creates undulating waves of dark foliage that spiral and fold in complex patterns. The thick, fleshy leaves have deep burgundy to nearly black coloration, especially when grown in bright conditions. Each crested ridge develops its own miniature rosettes, forming an intricate living sculpture that evolves as it matures.
