Pothos 'Neon', also called Neon Pothos, is a tropical vining plant native to the Solomon Islands in the South Pacific. It has earned a permanent spot on windowsills, shelves, and hanging hooks in homes and offices worldwide.

Its electrifying, uniform chartreuse-yellow foliage glows under indoor lighting. The leaves are heart-shaped, smooth, and waxy, growing to a generous size on long, flexible vines that drape or climb with support. Unlike variegated pothos varieties, every leaf delivers the same vivid, saturated color with no exceptions.

Pothos 'Neon' rarely, if ever, blooms in typical indoor conditions, so its bright green foliage remains the main attraction. The plant is a natural air purifier, actively filtering formaldehyde and other indoor toxins while gently humidifying the air around it.

Move it outside in summer to a shaded, sheltered location protected from direct rain and harsh afternoon sun. You can leave it up to ten days without water. Cats, dogs, and small children should be kept away from the foliage and sap, so placement on a high shelf or hanging hook well out of reach is necessary. It grows vigorously indoors and outdoors in warm climates.

It also grows in pockets of zone 10 along the coasts of Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama, as well as sheltered microclimates in Nevada and coastal Oregon with some seasonal protection.

You can gently clean the leaves if needed, and wait to fertilize until it has settled in. Always check soil moisture instead of watering on a fixed schedule.
