  •   Haworthia Venosa Succulent is a compact, rosette-forming succulent native to the rocky, semi-arid regions of South Africa, where it grows naturally beneath shrubs and rock outcroppings. It belongs to the Asphodelaceae family and is valued for its resilient nature and extremely low care requirements.

It forms tight, clustering rosettes of thick, triangular leaves marked with translucent veining and gray-green coloration. The raised venous lines catch the light, giving each rosette an almost geometric appearance. Each rosette stays around 3–5 inches in diameter and spreads gradually through clustering offsets, so a single pot slowly becomes a full, textured display.

It may produce slender flower stalks with small, tubular blooms, typically in spring or summer, and a temperature drop at night can encourage flowering. The plant releases oxygen at night and is safe for bedrooms. Note that it produces pollen, so those with allergies should be aware during bloom season.

Move it outside in summer to a bright, sheltered spot with indirect light, and bring it back inside before temperatures drop. It grows well under standard office LED lighting and on desks or shelves away from south-facing windows. Avoid harsh air conditioning or heater vents indoors, and protect it from heavy rain if placed outdoors. It is non-toxic and safe for cats and dogs. You can leave it up to ten days without water.

  •   Haworthia Venosa Succulent grows well in medium to bright indirect light and adapts to low light conditions.

Water it every 2–3 weeks, allowing soil to dry completely between waterings.

Haworthia Venosa does best in a well-draining cactus and succulent mix blended with perlite.

It prefers temperatures between 65–80°F and should be protected from frost.

Haworthia Venosa is a slow grower requiring light feeding with diluted succulent fertilizer once in spring.

It is hardy in USDA zones 9 through 11, tolerating minimum temperatures around 25–30°F with protection. It grows outdoors year-round in Florida, California, Texas, Arizona, Hawaii, Louisiana, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, and Nevada. It also grows in sheltered microclimates along the Oregon coast and in the warmer pockets of New Mexico and Arkansas.

    🌵 For Succulents
When your package arrives, you may notice a bit of loose soil in the box. This is completely normal during shipping.
Please remove your plants from their packaging right away and follow the care instructions included with your order. Succulents prefer to dry out between waterings, so only water when the soil is completely dry.
Succulents are resilient plants and typically recover quickly once they settle into their new environment. Give them a few days to adjust before placing them in direct sunlight, and avoid fertilizing right away.
