The Anthurium crystallinum, commonly known as the Crystal Anthurium, is a highly prized and stunning tropical evergreen plant celebrated for its dramatic foliage. The plant is primarily grown for its large, decorative, velvety leaves.
The leaves are its most striking feature: large, heart-shaped (cordate), with a luxurious, velvety, dark green to reddish-purple texture. They are dramatically contrasted by prominent, crystalline-like white or pale silvery-white veining.
The Red Prayer Plant is a slow-growing plant. New leaves appear occasionally, and it may only gain about a foot of height over a period of a few years.

Bright, Indirect Light. This plant needs plenty of light to thrive and maintain its dramatic leaf patterns, but direct sunlight will easily scorch its delicate, velvety leaves.
Keep the soil consistently moist but never soggy. Allow the top inch of the soil to become slightly dry before watering thoroughly.
An airy, chunky, and very well-draining aroid mix is essential to mimic its epiphytic nature.
The plant prefers warm, consistent temperatures between 65°F and 85°F (18°C - 29°C). Temperatures below 60°F (15°C) can cause damage.
