    •   Sedum Burrito, also called Donkey'S Tail, is a trailing succulent in the Sedum genus native to the rocky, semi-arid regions of Mexico. The plant has been grown in homes and gardens for decades as a timeless collector favorite.

        The plant produces plump, teardrop-shaped leaves in soft forest green, densely packed along long, rope-like trailing stems that cascade over pot edges. Unlike the classic burro's tail succulent, Sedum Burrito features rounder, chunkier leaves that give each stem a full appearance. Use a hanging basket, high shelf, or statement floor placement so the stems can drape over the edges.

        Small, star-shaped pink to red blooms appear at the tips of mature stems in summer when the plant receives a nighttime temperature drop. Flowers are a bonus on well-established specimens.

        You can leave it up to ten days without water while traveling. The plant is non-toxic and safe for cats and dogs. Move it outside during summer to encourage best growth, keeping it sheltered from heavy rain and harsh direct afternoon sun. Bring it back indoors before temperatures drop below freezing.
