It belongs to the Asparagaceae family and has been selected for its deep, dark green leaf tones and tidy upright form.

The leaves are broad, sword-shaped, and grow in a tight upright rosette with a deep green base color overlaid with faint, darker cross-banding and lighter marginal edges. Each leaf is firm and waxy to the touch, tapering to a stiff point at the tip. Fabi Snake Plant stays on the compact side, typically reaching 12 to 24 inches tall, with leaves that are thicker and more densely packed than many standard Sansevieria trifasciata cultivars.

Flowering on this cultivar is infrequent indoors and not reliably documented, so it is grown primarily for its foliage. What is well confirmed: Fabi Snake Plant actively filters indoor air, removing formaldehyde and other airborne toxins from the surrounding environment.
