  •   Epipremnum Aureum 'Jade', also called Jade Pothos, is a trailing houseplant from the Pothos genus, native to the tropical forests of Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands. It adapts well to both dim offices and sun-filled kitchen windows. Whether you're starting your plant collection or adding to it, this vining plant delivers consistent foliage growth with minimal fuss.

The leaves are heart-shaped with a waxy, smooth texture and deep green color that stays saturated even in moderate light. Unlike variegated pothos varieties, it leans into pure, uniform green without any cream or white markings. The vines cascade naturally from hanging baskets or shelves, and leaves grow larger in brighter conditions, creating dense trailing growth that fills a space quickly.

Epipremnum Aureum 'Jade' rarely flowers indoors. The plant filters formaldehyde and other common household toxins from indoor air. It also naturally humidifies the space around it, adding moisture to dry rooms.

You can leave it up to ten days without water. Rotate the pot regularly so all sides receive even light and the vines grow uniformly full. Keep it away from heating and cooling vents, which dry out the soil faster than normal. The sap and leaves are toxic to cats and dogs, so position it on a high shelf or hanging hook well out of reach. Move it outside in summer if you like; it handles balcony conditions without trouble. Stem cuttings root easily in water or soil within 2-4 weeks, so you can multiply your plant collection for nearly free.

  •   Pothos Jade grows well in low to bright indirect light, adapting well to medium light and standard office LED conditions.

Water it every 1-2 weeks, allowing the top inch of soil to dry out completely between waterings.

Epipremnum Aureum 'Jade' does best in a well-draining potting mix with added perlite for extra drainage.

It prefers temperatures between 60-85°F and should never be exposed to frost or freezing conditions.

Epipremnum Aureum 'Jade' is a moderate-to-fast grower that benefits from balanced liquid fertilizer applied monthly during spring and summer.

It is hardy in USDA zones 10-12, where temperatures stay reliably above 30°F. It grows outdoors year-round in Hawaii, southern Florida, and frost-free areas of Southern California, southern Texas, and southern Arizona. It grows outdoors seasonally in coastal Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and mild coastal areas of Oregon and Nevada; move it indoors before cold snaps arrive.
  • Q: How often should I water Pothos Jade?
A: Stick your finger an inch into the soil; if the top inch is dry, water thoroughly. The plant will wilt slightly when thirsty, bouncing back quickly after watering.

Q: Is it safe around pets and children?
A: Pothos Jade leaves and sap are toxic to cats, dogs, and small children, so keep it on a high shelf or hanging hook out of reach.

Q: Can Epipremnum Aureum 'Jade' grow in low light?
A: Yes, it adapts to low and medium light easily, including office conditions. Direct south-facing sun can scorch the leaves, so filtered or indirect light works best.

Q: How do I propagate this plant?
A: Epipremnum Aureum 'Jade' propagates in 2-4 weeks from stem cuttings placed in water or moist soil, rooting faster than most houseplants.

Q: Why are my Jade Pothos leaves turning yellow?
A: Yellow leaves usually indicate overwatering or poor drainage. Check that the pot drains freely and the soil dries between waterings. Insufficient light can also contribute to yellowing.

Q: How fast does it grow?
A: Jade Pothos is a moderate-to-fast grower. Apply monthly fertilizer during the growing season and rotate regularly for even light exposure to maximize fullness.

    🌿 For Houseplants
When your package arrives, you may notice a bit of loose soil in the box. This is completely normal during shipping.
Please remove your plants from their packaging as soon as possible and review the care instructions included with your order. Water based on your plant’s needs, making sure not to overwater.
Houseplants may need a short adjustment period after arrival. Give your plant time to acclimate to its new space before placing it with other plants. You can gently clean the leaves if needed, and wait to fertilize until it has settled in. Always check soil moisture instead of watering on a fixed schedule.
*** We pack carefully to protect each plant during transit, so larger orders may arrive in multiple packages.
