  •   Pothos 'Marble Queen', also called Marble Queen Pothos, is a vining tropical houseplant from the Solomon Islands in the South Pacific. It belongs to the genus Epipremnum and is one of the most widely grown houseplants across homes and offices worldwide. It grows indoors in nearly every climate and is equally at home in a starter collection or on a seasoned collector's shelf.

The leaves are small, heart-shaped, and feature creamy white, pale yellow, and green splashed across the foliage, with more white appearing as light increases. It produces long cascading vines that trail from hanging baskets or spill from high shelves, making it suitable as a desk plant or bookcase accent.

Pothos 'Marble Queen' very rarely flowers indoors, and bloom details for typical houseplant conditions are not confirmed. What it delivers instead is year-round air purification. it actively filters formaldehyde and other indoor toxins while naturally humidifying the air around it.

Stem cuttings root quickly in water or soil. Rotate it occasionally to encourage balanced growth across all sides. Keep it on a high shelf or elevated spot away from curious pets and children, as the sap causes skin and paw irritation on contact. You can leave it up to ten days without water.

  •   Pothos 'Marble Queen' grows in low, medium, or bright indirect light and can grow under standard office LEDs, but direct south-facing sun scorches the foliage.

Water it every 1-2 weeks, letting the top inch of soil dry completely between waterings.

Pothos 'Marble Queen' grows well in standard potting soil mixed with perlite for drainage and aeration.

It prefers temperatures between 60 and 85°F and should never be exposed to frost or freezing conditions.

Pothos 'Marble Queen' is a moderate to fast grower and benefits from balanced liquid fertilizer applied monthly during spring and summer.

It is hardy in USDA zones 10-12, tolerating temperatures no lower than around 30-35°F before cold damage occurs. It grows outdoors year-round in Hawaii, Southern Florida, South Texas, Southern California, and Southern Arizona. Parts of Louisiana, coastal Georgia, coastal South Carolina, southern Mississippi, southern Alabama, and the southernmost tip of Nevada also experience zone 10 conditions, and it can be cultivated outdoors during frost-free months in those regions.
  • Q: How often should I water Pothos 'Marble Queen'?
A: Stick your finger an inch into the soil; if the top inch is dry, water thoroughly. It wilts slightly when thirsty, which is easy to spot.

Q: Is it safe for cats and dogs?
A: No. Pothos 'Marble Queen' sap causes skin and paw irritation on contact, so keep it well out of reach on a high shelf or elevated spot.

Q: What window placement works best for Pothos 'Marble Queen'?
A: Bright indirect light from an east or west-facing window works well, though it also adapts to medium or low light. Avoid direct south-facing sun, which scorches the white variegation.

Q: How do I propagate this plant?
A: Cut a stem just below a node, remove the lower leaves, and place it in water or moist soil until roots develop. Roots form within a few weeks.

Q: How quickly does Marble Queen Pothos grow?
A: Growth is moderate to fast during spring and summer, extending several feet in a single growing season under good indoor conditions with regular watering.

Q: Can it survive outdoors in cold climates?
A: Marble Queen Pothos can move outside during warm months but must return indoors before temperatures drop below 60°F. Frost causes permanent damage to the foliage.

    🌿 For Houseplants
When your package arrives, you may notice a bit of loose soil in the box. This is completely normal during shipping.
Please remove your plants from their packaging as soon as possible and review the care instructions included with your order. Water based on your plant’s needs, making sure not to overwater.
Houseplants may need a short adjustment period after arrival. Give your plant time to acclimate to its new space before placing it with other plants. You can gently clean the leaves if needed, and wait to fertilize until it has settled in. Always check soil moisture instead of watering on a fixed schedule.
