  •   Pothos 'Manjula', also called Manjula Pothos, is a rare variegated pothos from the genus Epipremnum, native to the tropical regions of Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands. It climbs and trails through warm, humid forest environments in its natural habitat and has become a popular vining houseplant.

The leaves are large and heart-shaped, splashed with creamy white, silver, green, and pale yellow variegation in patterns unique to each leaf. The margins ruffle and wave gently. Growth starts upright and quickly becomes trailing, making it a natural choice for hanging baskets or cascading from high shelves.

Pothos 'Manjula' rarely flowers in typical indoor conditions, so its appeal is purely visual. It actively filters formaldehyde and other airborne toxins, serving as both an air cleaning plant and a decorative accent for any interior space.

Pothos 'Manjula' grows well near kitchen moisture, in terrariums, and under office LEDs, proving itself versatile for nearly any indoor location. Position it on a high shelf or hanging hook to keep it safely away from cats, dogs, and small children, since the sap can cause skin and paw irritation. Each plant is one of a kind due to its unpredictable variegation.

  •   Pothos Manjula grows well in bright indirect light and tolerates low light, but keep it away from direct south-facing sun which scorches its variegated leaves.

Water it every 7 to 10 days during spring and summer, reducing to every 14 days in winter once the top inch of soil feels dry.

Pothos 'Manjula' grows well in a well-draining potting soil blend with added perlite or orchid bark to prevent waterlogged roots.

It prefers temperatures between 65 and 85°F and should never be exposed to frost or temperatures below 50°F.

Pothos 'Manjula' is a moderate to fast grower during warm months and benefits from balanced liquid fertilizer applied monthly in spring and summer.

It is hardy in USDA zones 10 to 12, where temperatures rarely dip below 30 to 35°F. It grows outdoors in Hawaii, southern Florida, and the southernmost tips of California and Texas. It also grows outdoors in protected microclimates throughout Arizona, Louisiana, and coastal areas of Georgia and South Carolina. Gardeners in Alabama, Mississippi, Nevada, and along the mild Oregon coast can enjoy it outdoors seasonally but should bring it inside before cold snaps arrive.
  • Q: How often should I water Pothos Manjula?
A: Water it every 7 to 10 days in spring and summer when the top inch of soil is dry, then reduce to every 14 days in winter. Leaves will wilt slightly when the plant needs water.

Q: Is Pothos Manjula safe around cats and dogs?
A: No. The sap can cause skin and paw irritation, so keep it on a high shelf well away from pets and small children.

Q: What light conditions does Pothos 'Manjula' need?
A: It grows well under standard office LEDs and in bright indirect light. Avoid direct sun exposure, which can scorch the creamy white variegation on the leaves.

Q: How do I know if it's getting too much sun?
A: Brown, papery patches develop on leaves when exposed to direct sunlight. Move it a few feet back from the window or filter the light with a sheer curtain.

Q: Can Manjula Pothos survive a week or two without watering?
A: You can leave it up to ten days without water. Water it thoroughly before you leave and move it away from heating or cooling vents.

Q: How do I propagate new plants from stem cuttings?
A: Take a stem cutting with at least one node and one healthy leaf, then place it in water or moist potting soil. Roots develop within two to four weeks.

    🌿 For Houseplants
When your package arrives, you may notice a bit of loose soil in the box. This is completely normal during shipping.
Please remove your plants from their packaging as soon as possible and review the care instructions included with your order. Water based on your plant’s needs, making sure not to overwater.
Houseplants may need a short adjustment period after arrival. Give your plant time to acclimate to its new space before placing it with other plants. You can gently clean the leaves if needed, and wait to fertilize until it has settled in. Always check soil moisture instead of watering on a fixed schedule.
*** We pack carefully to protect each plant during transit, so larger orders may arrive in multiple packages.
