Aeonium Kiwi Aeonium Haworthii

  •  Aeonium Kiwi - This listing is for a Aeonium Kiwi in a 2 inch or 4 inch size. Some have branches with cute little babies. They vary in color depending on their location in our greenhouse. Some will be more yellow, some greener.

Aeonium Percarneum (Aeonium "Kiwi") is a drought tolerant succulent with branches of variegated, pointed leaves. Its leaves can have up to 4 colors when grown in ideal condition: green, yellow, white, and red. It grows up to 8 inches and produces bell-shaped flowers in winter. It goes dormant in the summer and grows best in cool shade/ winter time.

Please be aware that Aeonium bruises easily, so the plant may have some little brown marks on their leaves when they arrive due to the transit. It's completely normal and will no absolutely no harm to the health of the plant.

All of the plants will be shipped bare root
  • Full Sun, Partial Sun.

    Porous and well-drained sandy soil.

In winter, water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch, then let drain completely. Avoid letting water sit for too long in the soil to prevent rot and fungal diseases. Reduce watering to a minimum in summer when the plant goes dormant.

You can propagate Aeonium Kiwi from leaf cuttings taken when the plant is in its active period.

Generally non-toxic to humans and animals

Fragile plants such as bearpaw, baby toe, etc. may break or loose a few of their leaves during transport. Please contact us for replacements if your plants are severely damaged. We'll try our best to accommodate you. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grown in, depending on availability or time of year.
  • Provide porous soil with adequate drainage, pots with drainage hole are recommended. Bright, filtered light and ample airflow. Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch. Never let your succulents sit in water. Do NOT water on the leaves. If you water from beneath by letting the plant sit in a saucer of water, make sure to pour off any excess water after a few minutes. The hotter it is outside, the faster your soil will dry out, so you’ll need to water more often if you live in a hot area. Water with caution in winter, as the plant can lose its roots if the soil stays cold and wet for extended periods; protect from frost to prevent scarring.

Excellent Customer Service

I ordered 2 plants-an Aeonium Kiwi Aeonium Haworthii and a Aeonium Mardi Gras Rosettes. The kiwi looks great. But the Mardi Gras doesn’t match the website photo so I don’t think that’s what I received-pic attached. However, there were some mishaps with my initial order and the US postal service lost my first package. By the time I received it my Mardi Gras was dead, super dead. Succulent Box has OUTSTANDING customer service. They were super responsive. They sent me several emails all less than 24 hours after mine. They worked with me with no questions asked. They also sent me a new plant to replace the lost one that died. And it arrived in great shape, all the way across the country in about 48 hours. Much quicker than I expected. While I wish it was the Mardi Gras, I also understand that it might be out of their control due to supply. I’m thankful for their responsiveness and for the hard work of their team to make it right. I will recommend this company to others and will buy from them again. I think they did all that they could for me.

I was worried it would get bruised from shipping due to the sensitive leaves, but they packaged it very well, so it came in without a blemish.
