  •   Opuntia microdasys, also called Bunny Ear Cactus or Angel's Wing. It’s a popular houseplant due to its easy care and cute appearance. It is native to Mexico with thornless, flat, elliptical to circular pads. It can grow 2 to 3 feet tall and up to 6 feet wide outdoors.

Its spikes are small and white therefore you have to be careful when touching it.

All of the plants will be shipped bare root

  • Your plant will be meticulously bubblewrapped and shipped in a sturdy box. Most 2" plants are shipped in their original plastic pot with soil. Fragile and big 4" plants are shipped bareroot to ensure their safety. When opening your package, some soil may be loose in the box. Plant orders are shipped within 3-5 days depending on availability of the plant. We ship our plants Monday through Friday, all twelve months of the year! If you need your order urgently, please message us so we can upgrade your shipping (additional cost applied). Here is our blog about the shipping process and packaging. We do not ship outside of the continental United States.

*** All of our packages are sterilized before leaving the door.

** We ship all year round, heat packs are available for purchase in the winter. Please purchase a heatpack if the temperature in your area is below 40F. If your heatpack isn't in the same order with your other plants, please drop us a message, we'll add it for you.
  • We only ship out beautiful, healthy plants! Please track your package and open it immediately upon arrival. If you receive your package and are not satisfied, please message us immediately. Fragile plants such as bearpaw, baby toe, etc. may break or loose a few of their leaves during transport. Please contact us for replacements if your plants are severely damaged. We'll try our best to accommodate you. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grown in, depending on availability or time of year.
  • Provide porous soil with adequate drainage, pots with drainage hole are recommended. Bright, filtered light and ample airflow. Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch. Never let your succulents sit in water. Do NOT water on the leaves. If you water from beneath by letting the plant sit in a saucer of water, make sure to pour off any excess water after a few minutes. The hotter it is outside, the faster your soil will dry out, so you’ll need to water more often if you live in a hot area. Water with caution in winter, as the plant can lose its roots if the soil stays cold and wet for extended periods; protect from frost to prevent scarring.

Pretty Angel

I have ordered over 20 plants from Succulents Box. All are surviving well. I have enjoyed watching them grow and bloom.

Cute and fuzzy.

My little guys arrived quickly and were packaged very nicely with some useful information on the inside of the box about getting them re potted. I was surprised to find that even though I only ordered one, I received twins! Maybe because they were a bit on the small side? I just love these little guys though and can’t wait to see them grow.

A wishlist plant

A little pricey for the size once you factor in shipping, and came with a few cosmetic imperfections, but overall worth it! I hoped to receive something with a classic bunny ears shape and was not disappointed.

Sweet but Dangerous

These "spikes" are dangerous! They don't look like much but it makes you feel like you have them on your hands for HOURS after handing. Just use gloves or something and save yourself. My "baby" came without roots so I am hoping he does well, but it looks fantastic. Can't wait to watch him grow.
