  •  Lithops, native to Southern Africa, are also known by the name 'Living Stones' because of their resemblance to pebbles and rocks that scattered around their natural surroundings. Lithops are tiny slow-growing plants that grow close to the ground. Each plant has an underground stem with a long root that connects to two above-ground thick leaves that are merged together at the soil level.

Lithops usually bloom white or yellow flowers from between the two leaves in the summer.

All of the plants will be shipped bare root.

  •  Full sun.

Porous and well-drained potting soil or cactus mix.

Do not overwater or else the leaves will burst, causing the plant to die. Do not water in the summer since the plant is dormant and also do not water in the winter. It's best to water during spring and when flowers bloom/new leaves appear.

Lithops prefer warm weather but can survive cold winter with temperatures as low as 55˚F (13˚C).

You can propagate Lithops from seeds
  • USDA hardiness zone 10a to 11b: from 30 °F (−1.1 °C) to 50 °F (+10 °C).
  • Your plant will be meticulously bubblewrapped and shipped in a sturdy box. Most 2" plants are shipped in their original plastic pot with soil. Fragile and big 4" plants are shipped bareroot to ensure their safety. When opening your package, some soil may be loose in the box. Plant orders are shipped within 3-5 days depending on availability of the plant. We ship our plants Monday through Friday, all twelve months of the year! If you need your order urgently, please message us so we can upgrade your shipping (additional cost applied). Here is our blog about the shipping process and packaging. We do not ship outside of the continental United States.
  • We only ship out beautiful, healthy plants! Please track your package and open it immediately upon arrival. If you receive your package and are not satisfied, please message us immediately. Fragile plants such as bearpaw, baby toe, etc. may break or loose a few of their leaves during transport. Please contact us for replacements if your plants are severely damaged. We'll try our best to accommodate you. Plants may be slightly larger or smaller than the pot they are grown in, depending on availability or time of year.
  • Provide porous soil with adequate drainage, pots with drainage hole are recommended. Bright, filtered light and ample airflow. Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch. Never let your succulents sit in water. Do NOT water on the leaves. If you water from beneath by letting the plant sit in a saucer of water, make sure to pour off any excess water after a few minutes. The hotter it is outside, the faster your soil will dry out, so you’ll need to water more often if you live in a hot area. Water with caution in winter, as the plant can lose its roots if the soil stays cold and wet for extended periods; protect from frost to prevent scarring.

The plant is doing well and I love doing business with you. Only 1 thing I wish and that is when you ship a plant let it's name come with it so one can remember what they are called. I have to give mine just regular names. Maybe that is why some have not made it?? Because I talk to them??

Arrived fast, well packaged and in good shape. Potted them and so far so good! If anything goes wrong at this point it will be my fault. ❤️
